Saint-Lary
is located in Hautes-Pyrenees 80km south of the department
capital Tarbes located next to the Le Néouvielle Nature Reserve
and the Pyrenees National Park and is only a 30 minute drive to
Spain.
There are a variety of airports and low cost airlines to
choose from. The flights are short and if you book enough in advance you
can get some really great deals.
Nearest airports to Les Sapins are Pau (50mins) and Toulouse (90mins)
In Saint Lary you can discover the wide variety
of mountain activities. In the winter : skiing, snowshoes,
ice-skating and when the summer comes: mountain biking,
para-gliding, rafting, horse-riding, angling in lakes, hiking at
the heart of the natural park of Le Néouvielle or amidst the
surprising landscapes of the Spanish slopes, already influenced
by the Mediterranean. You will perhaps surprise an eagle or
marmot as you cross a rock or torrent.
